The 2mm Club

Where good managers become great.

A six month coaching residency for sales leaders who coach the team and own the quota. Starts with an assessment for the leader and their sellers. Ends with a bigger pipeline and deals that close faster.

Eight seats per cohort, from non-competing companies. The founding cohort is closed.

The idea

The fix is not a bigger swing. It is a 2mm shift in the grip.

Deals do not fail because of one bad meeting. They fail because of small misalignments early in the sales cycle that compound over time. Not a new methodology, not a bigger swing. A two millimeter shift in the grip. This program teaches managers to find that shift for every seller on their team.

How it works

Not a class. A laboratory.

Your sales manager joins a cohort of eight managers from non-competing companies. Everyone starts with an evaluation from Objective Management Group: the manager plus up to five sellers. That is the MRI we coach from.

For six months they get biweekly coaching on sales leadership disciplines and selling competencies, with content they take back and run with their own team. Real reps, on their real team, on their real pipeline. And because everyone in the room comes from a different company, it is the one place they can be honest about what is not working.

Why a club

The loneliest job in revenue.

Below them, a team that needs their confidence. Above them, a VP who needs their commits. Nowhere to say “I am not sure this is working.”

The club is that place. Eight sales leaders who coach the team and own the quota, from non-competing companies, no politics, every session. It is the room they cannot get at work. That is the point.

What they walk away with

A manager who reads the data, and a toolkit they keep.

A manager who reads their team’s data like an MRI

Spotting the trends and the gaps, and coaching the smallest adjustment that creates the biggest difference. Every seller gets a personal action plan in month one and six months of coaching on how to work it.

A complete training toolkit, theirs to keep

A video lesson and a ready-to-run scripted deck for every topic, built to teach in their own team meetings between club sessions. Works with any methodology, because the 21 competencies underpin all of them. Everyone retakes the evaluation at six months.

The AI execution stack

The monthly snapshot prompt, seller-facing AI assistants for every milestone, and the inspection rhythm that makes them stick. Data-built, AI-drafted, coach-led.

The AI thread

AI is not a topic here. It is the execution layer.

Every month, AI reads your team’s live deal data and produces a coaching snapshot: where each seller is losing momentum, rated red, amber or green, so your coaching points come from evidence rather than memory.

Then your sellers work with AI assistants built against those exact coaching points. The right discovery questions, account prep, mutual plan templates, used between sessions and inspected by you. Members leave with the full stack: the prompts, the assistants, and the rhythm to run them.

The six month arc

Starts with a baseline. Ends with proof.

Every month pairs one sales management competency with the seller competencies the manager learns to coach, plus an AI point of view.

Inside the program

The six months, month by month.

Month one

Read the MRI

Read the evaluation data the way we do, and build every seller’s action plan in a conversation that creates buy-in rather than defensiveness.

Month two

Funnel Fix

Diagnose pipeline gaps and coach real urgency on deals already in play. This is where the early win comes from.

Month three

Smart Hunting

AI market signals on where to hunt and how to differentiate, then coaching prospecting that is consistent and accountable rather than sporadic.

Month four

Discovery Drill

Deep discovery and the two-sale mentality. The buyer decides to change before they decide on you, and most sellers skip the first sale entirely.

Fit

Who this is for, and who it is not.

This is for

  • A sales leader who coaches the team and owns the quota, having trouble getting through to their sellers and trouble getting pipeline closed on time.
  • Managers hungry to become leaders. New to the role or carrying a particularly hard team; what matters is that they want to learn.
  • Managers willing to put in the work. This is a residency: real reps, with their real team, on their real pipeline.

This is not for

  • Managers looking for a spectator seat. Teaching the workshops in their own team meetings is a required part of the program.
  • Teams unwilling to look at their own data. The MRI only works if everyone reads it.
  • Anyone shopping for a new methodology or a thirty day quick fix. This is six months of reps and behavior change.

The commitment

If the numbers have not moved, we keep coaching. Until they do.

We baseline the team’s metrics at kickoff. If a manager attends the sessions, trains their team per the protocol, and the numbers have not moved at six months, we keep working with them at no additional cost until they do.

What is included

One manager, one decision.

Built to pay for itself in a single saved deal, and priced for an approval that does not need a committee.

  • Manager evaluation plus up to five seller evaluations, with retakes at six months
  • All twelve live club sessions, ninety minutes every other week
  • The complete team training toolkit, theirs to keep: a video lesson and a ready-to-run scripted deck for every topic
  • Six seller workshops the manager teaches their own team on the opposite weeks
  • Individual action plans for every seller, built in month one
  • Baseline, progress updates and a full readout for the executive sponsor
  • The commitment: if the numbers have not moved and the work was done, the coaching continues at no cost

Who is in the room

KK Anderson

Founder and CEO, 589

More than fifteen years inside hundreds of sales organizations, from B2B SaaS to manufacturing floors, most of it standing next to frontline managers trying to move a quota. The diagnostic methodology behind 589 exists because the same thing kept happening: companies bought training before anyone understood the problem.

589 organizations diagnosed and more than 15,000 sellers evaluated later, clients say the data reads like a crystal ball. Which deals will stall, and why, before anyone else sees it. It is not psychic. It is pattern recognition, and it is teachable. That is what the club teaches.

Formerly the top-ranked Objective Management Group partner globally, out of roughly 125.

The details

Questions people ask before they apply.

Does this replace our methodology?
No. A methodology tells sellers what to do. The 21 competencies decide whether they can. We coach the competencies; keep your methodology. It will work better.
Do my sellers also attend?
The club is for first line managers. Sellers get the six workshops, taught by their own manager in team meetings on the opposite weeks. That is the design, not a compromise: a manager who teaches it learns it twice.
How much time does it take?
One ninety minute session every other week, plus the workshop the manager runs with their team on the opposite weeks. Twelve club sessions across six months.
When are the sessions?
Every other Wednesday at 11am Eastern, 8am Pacific, for ninety minutes. Cohort dates are scheduled around quarter close, Thanksgiving and the holidays, so a manager can commit to all twelve on day one.
What tools do we need?
A paid Claude or Gemini account, your CRM, and ninety minutes every other Wednesday. We provide the prompts, the AI assistants, the workshop materials and the evaluation data.
What does the executive sponsor see?
The seller results, a baseline at kickoff, progress updates and a full readout. The manager’s own evaluation stays confidential to the manager. They can choose to share it, and choosing privacy signals nothing. Honest data requires it.
What happens after six months?
The re-assessment sets a new action plan, and the team training toolkit is theirs to keep permanently.
Why a club instead of private coaching?
Because managers learn as much from each other as from us. Peers from non-competing companies trade experience and ideas, and what is said in the club stays in the club.
What does it cost?
Less than most companies spend sending one manager to a two-day workshop, and it is one manager and one decision rather than a committee. We will walk you through the number on the fit call.
